This pampas grass was growing in a corner of the Museum Gardens in York (ISO 400, f5.6, 1/1000); after looking at it on a good monitor I think that it really needed a narrower aperture to make it stand out more from the tree in the background. Still, it is very pretty.
The view of the River Ouse has been a favourite of mine ever since my commute to work was a walk down that path (ISO 400, f5.6, 1/1250.)
