One caveat, though, for customers of Ikea: their easy-to-assemble flatpack furniture has neither perfectly square ninety degree corners nor perfectly standardised pre-drilled holes, so when you want to mount three bookcases in an evenly spaced row up a staircase it's you who is screwed, not the bookcases.

Those are fantastic!! Am covetting them like mad. But only if you come and put them up for me. (My hubby a. woudn't get them anywhere near straight and level, and certainly wouldn't have put the tools away).
