So why do children with Autism repeat things - especially things that create problems?
Simple - they are trying to understand why other people respond in the way that they do.
"Kicking a shoe onto the roof made lots of people shout and wave their arms around - and then get a ladder. That was very interesting. Do you think they will do it again...?"
