619 miles in two days: York to Gatwick to Heathrow to the Square Mile (City of London) to Manchester and back to York again.
All cruising at around the legal speed limit (take note, Rozzers, that my maximum speed for the whole journey was only 0.5mph over the limit!) and, according to the trip computer, at an average of 74mpg.
You would never get fuel economy like that in a Toyota Pious.
