I'm excited because today was a good photo day.
This is my bike. With Spring finally here it was taken out on Saturday for the first time this year. It's a British-made Rudge 3-speed and I've been riding it for 2 years now.
I've never seen one with a gold paint job but the paint appears to be original. The Sturmey-Archer hub is dated 1951. The fork is slightly bent and one of the crank arms is a bit twisted but aside from that it is fine. It's a lot of fun to ride around, and helps me cover a lot of ground in the city when I'm taking pictures.
I rode it to work this morning and gave it a good cleaning at the end of the day. I then snapped some photos of it in the shop where I work.
Shortly after I headed home but then went out for a little ride through Cambridgeport and came across a puddle in a construction site that was located behind Simmons Hall, an MIT dorm. I like this picture and if it wasn't for my bike ride I would've missed the opportunity to take it.
The egg was a present. I wanted to take a picture of it before it rotted.
Great set, the close-up metal shots are cool, and the reflection picture took me a second to figure out what I was seeing (it looked like a crumbling building at first glance). Great egg...lol
