Not far from where I live on an old shop that is one day going to be torn down and rebuilt. This is new though. There seems to be a resurgence of this insignia lately scrawled on walls and fences, even on bitumen roads but they don't stand out like this one. Such a shame the svasti was hijacked and its true meaning of well being, good luck, altered forever.

symbols speak languages we define collectively. If we didnt apply a meaning what would it be and what would we do? where would we be and how would we go? collective expression is always tainted, always distorted, always sought after .... i could go on .. hmm .. thought provoking post. Great job!
