Now and then a dragonfly will get caught beneath the patio shadeclothe...I give em a hand and this one was very relaxed, relaxed enough to get a couple of shots. When it got tired of me it alighted. It was a nice experience.

I think you have a way with the critters. First the spider and now this dragon! Great work. They must sense that they are safe with you and offer up a pose or two in thanks. They are amazing close up.

Metallic blue...great aren't they. I once spent 30 minutes trying to photograph one in-flight without luck.
