hail665 Now and then a dragonfly will get caught beneath the patio shadeclothe...I give em a hand and this one was very relaxed, relaxed enough to get a couple of shots. When it got tired of me it alighted. It was a nice experience.

vollenda I think you have a way with the critters. First the spider and now this dragon! Great work. They must sense that they are safe with you and offer up a pose or two in thanks. They are amazing close up.

LavidaRose safe indeed, emancipated ...... the unification between man and insect is an incredible capture ... there is so much more to learn from the world untainted by so called "higher" consciousness ......

Cherax Metallic blue...great aren't they. I once spent 30 minutes trying to photograph one in-flight without luck.
