The Aligned Portraits

Who are these two people, where are they from, how did they get to this place in time, this single moment, to share this hour, minute, second, to have such an embrace and how, how did their paths cross, and of all the people of all the earth how did they become aligned, can it, will it, ever be known (even by themselves) and does it, should it, be known or should we the viewer just be glad for them that they have had the privilege of a moment where a delicate softness has entered their world and shrouded their bodies like woven fabric of unknown origins?
So let us be happy for them in the fact that they have created here a memory, one that, in time, will stand like a small monument in a garden of wild flowers and ripe fruits and long grass and somewhere, held and caressed in a current of wind, the sounds of a fine Sunday afternoon.
