zaliariff dude, mcm overblown jua B&W mu ani...play around with the contrast abit...just my 2 cents...use NX capture...and remember always use RAW..hehe...nya sifu airbiscuits tu
zaliariff · 2008-05-05: 01:38
headache Haha awu zali..i put it arah +2 arah lightroom..and adjust the contrast but this was after i convert everthing to black n white haha n if i use under..nda berapa nampak the details.kalau nda pun pasal hari a2 panas haha no matter what i do masih jua overexpose hahaaha rasa jua nda mau mengakung atu ahh haha shot using raw plg bro..tapi lapas tu biasalah i find it slow berabis n tukar ke jpg haha..wanna trade ur d300 with my d40x?thank u zali..bnr plg tu overblown..capture nx slow berabis arah my laptop.hehe..so i use LR n CS3 saja.hehe..
headache · 2008-05-05: 03:05
jIM747 When you convert your pics into black n white in LR, your first step should be adjusting the exposure only first. Then go to the grayscale tab. From there you adjust each colour channel to get the look that you want. The last step in LR should then be adjusting the contrast. Go for a medium contrast rather than high contrast.

From LR, then u can adjust the images further (if u wish) in CS3 by adjusting the levels further, burning the shadows and dodging the highlights. Dont go too overboard with the burn and dodge tool. Stick with a low exposure setting of 7% to start off with and work your way from there.
