MY AMSTERDAM, 17 AUG. 2008. THE CORPSE DIDN`T MAKE IT EASIER.

Amsterdam, being built on marchland, the houses have a tendency to tilt forward making it look like they will actually topple over.
Now, we the people living in these old monumental houses are of course not all that happy about this.

it is the same house but but here I try to show you how we use these wooden beams to support the upper part of the house.

located just around the corner from the tourist hotspot "The Anne Frank House" this little souvenir shop has got only three square meters inside, that is why all the mercandise is outside in front of it.

After Bulgaria and Hungaria as well as Romania became a member of the European Community, Amsterdam has been run over by these eastern european street musicians - most of them gipsy people - one can see them at every street corner.
