I enjoyed your woodland walk, is that near your home? Could that bird in No 12 be a plover of some sort.. a mountain plover maybe?

A very soft and serene post. I love the floral shots in #6 & 10. I think the bird is a killdeer - it pretends to be hurt and falls to the ground to draw you away from it's nest. Check birds online and see if that's it. I photographed one today.
