-1 kg of red currants
-800g of sugar
-1 table spoon of vanilla extract
-3 sticks of cinnamon.
Boil all in a pot for 10 minutes steering frequently.
Let to cool down and mix in 6 table spoons of rum.
Transfer the mixture in some decorative bottles and once the bottles are full pour one table spoon of rum on the top in each bottle.
Keep in cool place.
It is great in the winter to put it in your tea!
Skip the tea - this looks good enough to drink straight!
