The colors of fall aren't quite here yet, but they're just starting. This is a ceiling of leaves - I love the light behind them. My son looked at this picture, and said, "Wow, mom, you can see the chlorophyll!" Can you guess what he's studying in school?

We were talking, and startled some deer. But then they turned around and were just checking us out. They really didn't seem scared of us. Then they slowly walked away. I love moments like this!

How lovely - particularly the deer. The tree framing the deer gives the image a very 'peek-a-boo' effect.
