Detail in the strangest places...

While visiting an company in Slough to benchmark design information, parts, materials & networking for my study prototype I bumped into this interesting little monument at Slough train station. While trying to ignore that the bag was attached to a dead dog I admired the proportions. The lock as the centerpiece - prominent, but probably because of mechanical constrains.

"Whatever happened to bold features. Did they die when we miniaturized everything?"
