"...TO PROVIDE SECURITY AND EMPOWERMENT"
Recent floods all over the world remind us that the victims feel powerless and vulnerable in the wake of ravaging waters. Zoas is essentially a flood kit box where you store possessions that you know will help you survive the flood. The MA Industrial Design Engineer designers of this project - Cheryl Bauer, Chiara Bello, Rombout Frieling and Virginia Gardiner - say that with this Zoas kit box, victims can feel security, peace of mind and most of all, empowerment. Zoas, is shown at the 2008 Interim Show, Royal College of Art in London, UK.
