Reason to Design... #114:
"...TO BURY THAT OLD BAG FEELING"
Jonas Trapedach says the idea behind his tea set is that the "people around him who drink tea all seem to share the same problem - Where to do you put the teabag after it has brewed?". To solve this problem Jonas had designed an imprint of the characteristic, teabag shape used by several major tea manufacturers in the saucer to make a "TEABAG COFFIN".
Jonas is currently a Design Product MA student of the Royal College of Art and is showing his work in 2008 Interim Show in London, UK.
