"Finding affordable accommodation in urban jungles is very difficult. So many former commuters are turning to a new phenomenon in automotive design - The Urban Sleeper" says Lian McShane, a Coventry University student. Exhibited at the 'Re/active' show curated by the Transport & Product design department, 'Gui' uses artificial muscles to open the rear and roof of the vehicle to create more space for the user.
The 'Re/active' show is on until 5th June 2008..
