Reason to Design... #131:
"...TO MAKE THE BIG AGGRESSIVE STUFF - THAT'S LIGHT"
Oliver Sharp, a Transport and Product Design student, loves it big but has an economical conscience. His Bristol concept is large & aggressively styled "with a combination of swooping lines and hard edges to create a voluptuous shape that has undoubted presence". However, it's all designed to be made from cellulose based recycled materials and ceramic parts replace heavy metals. The result is an Luxury Sporting Grand Touring car that has the potential to make more economical journeys.
See Oliver's conceptual vision at the 'Re/active' exhibition, being held by Coventry University in the UK until 5th June 2008.
