“…TO GO WHERE NO ALPINE CAR HAS GONE BEFORE”

The increasing popularity of extreme winter sports has inspired Robert Heath, a Coventry University Transport & Product design student, to design an equally extreme mountain rescue vehicle. Robert says that skiers, boarders and climbers are pushing further and higher in their search for the extreme challenges, but these bold moves lead them into terrain that is often too difficult for traditional rescue vehicles to negotiate. Robert believes that his “SRV (Snow Rescue Vehicle) has been designed to go where no rescue vehicle has gone before… it’s rapid response could save lives in an environment where every second counts.”
