Leftover Yellowstone National Park Pics

All of these are best viewed enlarged. I couldn't get up higher for this picture. I wish I could because it looked like a backward question mark!

Difficult to tell what is rock and what is snow!

The gold/yellow/rust color means water is still flowing and hasn't changed direction. The water continues to cut new channels and build new terraces.

A huge area of smoking, boiling and bubbling hot - very hot - water. Oh, and it smelled like sulfur too!
|
I was fortunate to be there early enough where there were NO other people around at the time. The color of the water in the terraces is beautiful!

These shots are marvelous! Love the color in the last one..we only saw Old Faithful when there so I missed a lot of scenery..will have to go back!
