before joining this site, i had little interest in pictures. most of the pictures i have are of moments that i don't wish to remember or of moments that i wish never ended. i had a cell phone camera and if i took a picture of something, rather than someone, it was to use as wallpaper and that was it.

Photoblog has introduced me to photography, and to an amazing community of friends that is now family.

i would like to think of myself as a very amateur photographer who is learning by trial and error and error and error. i have hopes that i will continue with this and that one day my daughters can share in this art form with me. i use a Pentax K-r with a few different lens as of now, and don't see myself growing out of the camera anytime soon. i also use the Moto Atrix with the android app Vignette. any editing i do is through the limited options i have on my camera or phone.

The B&W is great but I find the above shot more pleasing to my eye - I don't know why though maybe I find it smoother as Leah said the B&W is bolder Awesome shot either...
