My mate told me that summer in UK only lasts for 3-5 days, and after that, it' back to autumn. I thought she was being funny. But it was true. Summer lasted for a week...and that's about it. No wonder the Brits love it when there's sun. They go out, dress as little as possible, even wears a bikini in the park to bathe! I told my mate that people back in Manila looks for shade, not the sun, and nobody would smoke under a mid-day Sun. But the difference here is the Sun feels good on your skin, it doesn't give you this burning feeling.
