Perhaps, you may wonder, how a dead flower can be beautiful. It may not be fresh and young anymore, it may not be stunning anymore. To me, the colors and and spirit still remain... I've always had an odd obsession with dead flowers. I guess in some ways, they represent stronger spirits and stay longer with their withered bodies...Again, you may still be confused, but I'm just trying to say that dead flowers seem to have an eternal quality.

Fascinating - yes I agree with your thoughts - and it is true that dead flowers can make compelling pictures - as these do.
