It was one incredibly happy birthday...
To begin with...I thank everyone who took time to give me their wonderful wishes and blessings...Thank you for all your good words, jokes, blogs, phone calls and instant messages...
I went to the best bakery in town today..the Spring Hill Pastry Shop...and the pastries I bought were a big hit...they vanished very quickly...and for a while, wherever you go...you become the center of attention and discussion...there was loads of humor in the air...and I shook a whole bunch of hands....BIRTHDAY CHARM!
But for the goodies I bought for the 'lucky' guys at work, there was actually little different I did today compared to any other day...it was nonetheless immensely enjoyable...
A couple of my elderly friends at work sang me the birthday song...in true American style..which I think was the first birthday song sung to me since my last birthday in high school in 1999..it was just mellifluous...
I came home to a couple of happy cats playing in the sunshine...and I amused myself with those guys again...and once the darkness shot in...in all ecstasy I danced in the most chaotic way possible...free of any rhythm or order for about an hour and half...while my laptop was booming away....
Well..I am officially twenty five...but for the very first time..I felt like I was two or three years younger..but again...the satisfaction and happiness in life that I have experienced in the past two years or so make me feel like I have been living on this planet for a long long time...
