In January and February of 2008, almost 89 persons have died drowned in Strait waters.
En los dos primeros meses de 2008 han perdido la vida 89 inmigrantes que intentaban cruzar el Estrecho. (6 en las costas canarias, 13 en las gaditanas, 1 persona en Ceuta, otra en Argelia y 68 en las costas del Sahara y de Marruecos). En 2007, murieron 921 personas. Lo que no sabemos cuántas se quedaron en mitad del desierto...
