Woonderful series Harry - love the light (and colours) in #4, but #2, 3 and 5 are also very good! When do we get to see some results from the A700?

Wow, love that first shot - delicate form and subtle colours. Actually this comment could be applied throughout. Lovely set. #1 takes the prize and #5 second for me.

What mainly stands out from this set, besides the wonderful beauty of nature that always shines in your pictures of this kind, are the amazing colors all around. Truly magical.

Outstanding shots Harry! So many of these have such wonderful soft shadows as the sun declines. I especially like $4 and #5, so peaceful. The last one is soft and delicate, a wonderful composition! Soo, you took the next step?! This should be fun...

You do excel at capturing light and the effects of it on textures and colors. I particularly admire #4 for the various soft hues and shadows.

Beautiful colours, and absolutely stunning use of light. #2, #3 and #4 are particularly enchanting - that burnt red the same as the dirt in central Australia. The D70 is a wonderful tool for you :) What's going to replace it now that it's moving to semi-retirement? You mention visual poetry some previous discussions we've had, and I am quick to see the same in all these shots at Mt Alexander... there is a peace and a feeling of unity here, something that is so tangible yet not a physical, identifiable presence. It's amazing how connected you can find yourself feeling when in nature such as this: you feel a history and a depth that you cannot be sure of... Thank you for sharing, Harry :)

Semi-retirement! What will you be using? North, south, east and west—you manage to capture the beauty of the landscape. Your photos maximize the light in a way that enlivens the visual picture.
