First workout with my new camera (Sony A700). Apart from a few minutes of sunshine in the morning (first shot), it was a very dull day. These were taken on the Bundoora campus of La Trobe University (Melbourne). I have heaps to learn about the new camera ... but I think these turned out pretty well anyway.

rolpa Sure did turn out well! #3, #4, #7, #9 and #10 all appeal strongly. Favourite is #7 with beautiful contrast of wood and leaf and wonderrful compositon including full utilisation of the frame. (Took a few autumn shots myself today.)

DancingDolphin Hey congratulations on your new camera... I dropped mine the other day and broke the lens but apparently it can be repaired. These are great! I really like the second shot, can't help wondering what it would look like in b/w (my new obsession!) I must admit to being glad to be heading into spring here! (LONG winter!)

SorinM Hoping than your new camera will fit your expectations I have to remark that the first results are great, the colors being so natural.

LastFrontier A blaze of colors and beautifully captured, Harry. How do you like the new Sony? (You did such a remarkable job with the D70 that I defer to you to compare.) Particularly love your second image composition and comment.

pattyb A pleasure for the eyes to behold! I'd say the new camera is a keeper! These are magnificent Harry, no way I can select a favorite. I just love the colors of Autumn! Thanks for sharing these. ; )

redarrow These are all very fine Harry - I think Sony makes great cameras - these reinforce that view.

vollenda These turned out extremely well! I love the colors and the camera worked beautifully. I favorited #4. I was thinking how serene #2 was with them sitting there like that and then I read your caption and laughed. :)

Congrats on the new camera!

photopoet The new camera seems quite suited to you—or you to it! They are all beautiful—but the curtain of gold is my favorite—stunning colours and composition. I also love the comment under the second photo.
