Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bendigo, in the evening light. The cathedral was built in the late 19thC by Italian craftsmen who were brought to Australia for this purpose. This evening I mistimed my arrival and was about 20 minutes too late, with the last of the sunlight about to disappear—hence I was only able to take a few rushed shots. The interior is quite beautiful also; I will return another day to take some shots inside. (These were taken on the new Sony A700)
