Haha, nice! So how are you liking it so far? Does grass look greener? Does food taste different? =) I love that you use Nikon, I'm such a fan. And by the way, I love* the book in your photo. It looks like something I would read... (and the picture....? care to tell?)

There's so much in this photo! The camera is my mom's old Nikon. Unfortunately, I haven't got it working quite yet. Hiding behind the bottle of Fat Tire is my dad's old (and tiny!) Rollei 35, which I use quite a bit. The lens cap to that camera I just noticed is hiding right in front of and underneath the lens of the Nikon - heh. What else? There's the stack of maps behind the Nikon... a mix of ones from our trip up to California last weekend and the ant-collecting I'll be doing in a few weeks in southern arizona. The books are by ALTON BROWN, who is without a doubt one of my favorite tv-chefs as the guy on Good Eats. His books are fun, but not as cool as the show. Above the books is a digital scale I use whenever I bake bread to weigh out the flour. Above that is a small wooden box my little sister made for me for my birthday (april 26th btw). There's a box of honey-nut cheerios hiding in the way back right side. Hanging on the wall in the back is a blueprint of the anatomy building from the university of chicago (I used to work in the architect's office there). And the b/w photo of the guy is and old photo of the lubavitcher rebbe, menachem mendel shneerson. I really like his teachings and find a lot of inspiration in the chabad-lubavitch (hasidic judaism) movement, so I keep his photo up to remind me to be a good person and do good things in the world. :-)
