First Studio Shoot

This past weekend, I had my first taste of a studio shoot. I've always been a natural light / speedlite kinda guy...so using strobes was something very foreign to me.

I got to shoot with my best bud Chris and had a blast. He needed headshots for a profile he's submitting to Fashion LA. I tried my best to illustrate his personality and hopefully it showed in these shots. He was a little shy at first...but with a few shots of Jack...he was down to go shirtless! hahaha

Next, we had a MUA named Linda Van and her friend Sheryl do their thing. The closest thing I had to a model was Janette's nieces and nephew so it was a little strange for me to direct an adult on poses.

Overall it was a great night. We had music blasting the night away, glasses upon glasses of Jack Daniels, and major sweat drippin...yes...them strobes combined with LA heat...no good...
