A practice has lately sprung up among advertisers of sending out persons "made up" in such a style as to represent the article it is intended to advertise. We have seen a series of men converted into gigantic hats, and we have observed other contrivances of equal ingenuity. We think, however, the principle might be still further carried out . . .

danrav A classic shot of the success of The Boardwalk Empire! I'll bet Chicken Parm is really good in an Irish Pub! They serve it on a green bun!

????? Hmmmm. Very interesting. In the thumbnail view I thought his mittened hand looked like a question mark. "Irish Pub?" lol
Also, neither of the things advertised on his board sound very Irish to me.
Great find Jeff!

djnana Maybe they should have hired "Meatloaf", the singer??!! He would certainly have attracted diners. Nice candid shot, Jeff.

poshrat I really should read more carefully - I thought it said 'half-baked meatloaf' and for a second thought that was a very non-politically correct reference ... the guy looks cold!

SADHYA I like the editing you have used here. Looks very poster like.
