Busy streets of Kinshasa...

2008.05.07
I'm always amazed with the heavy loads women are carrying...

Men use these little cart each has a number. When it's too heavy and they have to climb a hill they can be 2 or 3 to do it.

Sorry... that's the window's car on the bottom.... but did not want to cut it

Selling cold soft drinks and water..., sometimes, when there is trafic, they are in the middle of the streets with cars passing on both sides...

As a driver you have to know how to use your breaks, as a walker you must have eyes on the back of your head as well as on the sides...

I loved it, I wanted to stay hours in a corner and just watch life .... if you noticed the bread on the center-right of the picture.
...........it might be more fun to see all of the pics enlarged.............

I'm back to Paris and had a nice time in Africa
Unfortunately, as I expected, I only had time to shoot from the windows of the car, and most of the time through it...
So I'm trying to share with you the everyday life of people of RDC (Democratic Republic of Congo, ex-Zaire). The streets are crowdy morning and night.... there are about 9 milion people in Kinshasa.
