Some years ago...
I just scanned these... (from negative films)
We were in Burkina Faso, Bobo Dioulasso, and the guys had brought wonderful swords as souvenirs. We had to wait for the technicians to get all our equipment and luggage in the plane, but I don't remember how and why we could stay so long on the landing aire, next to the plane. The sun was hot and I was shooting everyone here and there... The guys wanted to test their swords posing for me :))
We had a big laugh, of course noone was hurt, but don't you think they are good actors ?
Now a day I doubt they would let us stay on the aire...

Burkina Faso, ville de Bobo Dioulasso, les garçons avaient acheté des sabres, et nous attendions le départ de l'avion... ils décidèrent de poser pour faire passer le temps. De vrais acteurs non ? :))) Nous avions bien ri.

Ces photos ne datent pas d'hier... :)) aussi à l'époque on pouvait voyager avec plein de choses, en plus nous avions un statut un peu spécial... La chose la plus étonante fut pour moi, le fait de pouvoir rester autant de temps sur le tarmac.... à parler, bouger, jouer, et faire des photos. Il faut dire que la ville Bobo Dioulasso n'est pas Ouagadougou la capitale...

they are terrible actors, but the scene is cool. specially because they probably were not allowed to take their swords into the plane... or where they???
