i am amazed about these pics. what shocks me all the time when i see pictures of children from most african countries, is how "grown up" they look. their faces are serious, their expression is "considering", they almost have nothing of the playfulness and carelessness of kids from rich northern or asian countries. these kids are often no kids anymore. they work. they have to take care of things, often their families lives. and they KNOW sorrow, despair, survival tactics, concern. it's amazing, and despite of the fact that it's sad (since we all probably agree that kids should have a happy youth), i think it also might teach us something up here.

I like the shots of the kids leaving school. I guess no matter where you are, they can't get away fast enough. :) Very nice set.

look like kids there have very hard life. sometime i really want some kids here to realife that how lucky they are and they should share with other kids who have a hard life, give them a book, and help them in something.
