What a mess!~ I can't even imagine winds that strong. We'll certainly keep all good and positive thoughts for all the people in the path of this monster! Again, so glad that you're OK. I haven't heard from the others in our Photoblog from Martinique.... Do you know if they're OK also?

Impressionnant !

what a conflict. such a prime opportunity for photos, but it's prime because of the devastation wreaked. i am glad, though, that the loss did not include life.

Thank to everyone for your support, prayers and thoughts. Now, as it was said we have to repair, lots of houses don't have roof. And it's going now to Jamaica, strong ! Haiti was less injured than it could be, I give thanks for that !

I understand Jamaica was hit harder than us in Martinique, as well as the Yucatan peninsula in Central America. Mexico escaped as it went down from category 5 to category 1, but I believe it has gathered speed again over the Gulf of Mexico. Fingers crossed for Southern US and Florida!
