I love the heliconia also......but all are so incredibly vibrant and lovely! We don't have anything like this here (except very expensive cut flowers!).... I would love to see them growing in nature!

Ces jolies fleurs se trouvent dans la forêt de la Trace n'est-ce pas ? Il est dit qu'il y a souvent des serpents aux endroits où elles poussent, est-ce possible ? Les couleurs sont magnifiques!

Oh, #3 et la derniere sont mes preferees. On dirait de la soie pour la #3. Et la derniere, on dirait des petits oiseaux qui ont envie de sortir de leur nid. Fantastique encore une fois Jen. Oh, #3 and the last one are my favourite. The one on 3 looks like velet. On the last picture, it looks like tiny birds trying to get out of their nest. Thanks Jen for another fantastic post!

i thought it was a bird-of-paradise at first. they're every bit as beautiful. i really like the perspective on number three.

Encore une belle série. On voit bien les différentes variétés. Je crois que la première c'est l' Heliconia humilis qu'on appelle Lobster claw heliconia dans les Iles anglophones. J'aime beaucoup la dernière avec ses détails.
