The mountains in the back are Les Pitons du Carbet... a little later the clouds could let us admire them better. At the bottom Fort de France, the capital.

Mont Pelée, volcano up North....

We were lucky !!!! a couple of minutes after...

Leaving Martinique....
|
...heading to Dominica.... that part is also a volcano, the most active one of this island... don't worry they are watched regularly...
|
Caribbean islands, except Barbados, are a chain of volcanos... giving the island wonderful shapes.

Looks like a beautiful and peaceful trip..... All are lovely: I can't choose a favorite. I didn't know that the Caribbean islands are a string of volcanoes....That's interesting!

i watched "to have and have not" last night. it's set in martinique during WWII. it made me think of how wonderfully you capture the islands.
