sorry for the dark picture but I had to take it quickly before the wasp disappeared. I think you can see it a teensy bit better if you look at the full size picture. The (I think) wasp had just killed a catepillar and was dragging it into its little den. Really cool! I always see this on nature shows but it was the first time I saw it in person. Is this when it lays its eggs in the catepillar and then seals up the hole?

i'm not sure if this is a stink beetle or not but i saw another one with its butt in the air so i stayed away from that one
