Mood lighting along the top of the cabin. It is actually a bluish-purple color, like periwinkle or something, but it came out as bright blue on my camera.

I left for New York today. My friend found a 2 for 1 fare sale for Virgin America a couple months ago and so we figured, "why not?" The plane was really fun. There was mood lighting and each seat had a screen where you could watch TV and movies or play games. You could also use the screen to order food and drinks if you wanted something after the carts had come by. Unfortunately our screens were broken. Ok for my friend who slept for most of the red-eye flight, bad for me who can't fall asleep on planes and didn't bring enough to read. They were really good about it, though. We each got a $25 voucher to use for a future flight and there were other seats we could move to if we wanted. I decided not to move. There was no one sitting in the last seat so we had the row to ourselves, which was nice.
