They have 4 volumes per voice (sop, alto, tenor, bass) so if I do start giving voice lessons it would be good to have them all, except that with the cds it costs about $40 per book. That is so painful...

I'm so lazy.
If I really had my act together I would have this giant book of songs organized and ready to go so that when I have an audition come up last minute I can just whip out a song and sing it.
Unfortunately I still haven't done it. It's only been 5 years or something like that. : ) So, I am looking through all my cds and books and what not to try and find something to sing for another audition next Tuesday.
These musical theater anthology books are great. Of course, all of these songs are really overused but they help in a pinch. Eventually when I get around to giving voice lessons they'll come in handy.
