My Parents

When I saw the theme of the week was "old" it reminded me that I wanted to scan all my parents' old photographs before they faded. They haven't been stored very well so a lot of them have already lost a lot of color or are turning kind of brownish.

Anyway, I found these old photos of my parents when they were in their 20s so I decided to post them today. I didn't get a good picture of my parents, my mom especially refused to look at the camera, so i will change the pictures when i find better ones.

I am sad, though. Looking at my parent's picture they look so tired. Both of them work 13+ hour days, 6 days a week and about 10 hours on Sunday when they're coming to an age when they should retire. I know they come from kind of a different way of thinking where you work as hard as you can for as long as you can but I wish so much that I could provide them with the means to just stop working and relax. Instead, I am an out of work actor. Well, at least my brother is a lawyer and is doing well.
