champagne and chocolate (but not these two together!)

One of those days when I almost forgot to take a picture. I couldn't find much around my room that I wanted to take a picture of.

The bottle of champagne I randomly bought because it was on sale at Cost Plus World Market (one of my favorite stores). I love champagne but don't really know much about it. I was lucky enough once to try some Dom Perignon that my brother brought home from a friend's party (his friend had gotten it from work for some reason, talk about a generous company) and it was so wonderful! I forgot what the vintage was on it and sadly my Mom threw out the bottle when I told her I wanted to keep it. Oh well. Anyway, I bought the champagne as part of the incentive of finishing my new diet/exercise program. I won't drink it until I finish and I have the body I want! : )

Ok. I know that chocolate sounds weird. I mean, applewood smoked bacon, alder wood smoked salt and milk chocolate? But it actually is really good! I think so, anyway. It's basically just that salty/sweet combo with a hint of bacon flavor. Maybe I like it because I love it when the maple syrup and bacon mix on my plate - tastes so yummy. I'm glad I liked it because it will be the only chocolate I have in a while. I really like Vosges chocolates. Check out their website, they have some really interesting flavors.
