A friend of mine introduced me to Bjork's music several years ago, which i almost immediately fell in love with. Unfortunately I don't really understand her more recent stuff, I guess I'm just not smart enough musically, but I do think it is very interesting.

Anyway, this song (and video too, actually) is one of my favorites. I haven't listened to it in a long while but I randomly thought of it the other day. I've been waiting to post about it but I wanted to find a good picture to post with it first. Well, I couldn't find that perfect shot so I just used the one I had for today.

What Bjork said about love is so very true and it is the one thing that I am having such a hard time accepting. That you can only control how much love you give, not how much love you recieve or where from. I can't seem to accept that I will never receive the love that I've always wanted from my ex. It's difficult to believe that it is possible that it will come from somewhere else. Faith is so very difficult to keep up. Believing is so very difficult. I see my ex happy with his new girlfriend and all I want to do is scream against the unfairness of it all.

I know I need to be able to be happy with the love that is around me, even if it doesn't come from where I want it to. Maybe then I will find what I'm searching for.
