pain management

I don't really like taking any kind of medication but I have had awful back pain for the last three days and I finally just couldn't take it anymore. I can't sit or stand comfortably and it's starting to drive me crazy. I tried taking some Advil but it isn't really doing much for me. I would take something else but sometimes I have weird reactions to OTC stuff so I didn't want to just randomly try something new.

I know part of it is from working out more (and suddenly rather than gradually, stupid me) and part of it is from lifting things that are probably a little too heavy for me when we're building/taking down the set.

Maybe I'll just take it easy this week, although that's kind of hard since if we don't all pull our weight then that means that much less time to get into makeup and costume and I have an audition coming up that I want to look/feel my best for. Well, only a few more days to suffer through, I guess. : )
