I should have taken a picture of the whole building. It used to be a rubber/tire factory and it has this weird castle look to it. They build these enormous lit billboards, i think there are six of them, and they are so bright they are visible from the plane as you are flying into LA. You can go to this website or this one if you want to see pictures of this funny building. It has an interesting history, too.

I went to audition for Disney again but I didn't get called back this time. I was feeling extremely frustrated afterwards because I wonder if I should have listened to my gut feeling and sung a different song. My voice teacher was so adamant about how wonderful I sounded singing this one song I reluctantly agreed to sing it at the audition. Thing is, I sang it well and I'm sure it sounded great but I know in my hear it just wasn't what they were looking for (both in sound and style). I know I have to let it go and I know that in another six months or so they'll have auditions again but I'm annoyed and angry for not trusting myself and my instincts. I feel like I threw away another opportunity. Sigh.
I didn't take any photos at the audition, too upset to do so. I just took some random shots when I was eating lunch with a friend and when I went to an outlet store afterwards.
I've seen that building and wondered what it was! I have a very talented student who auditioned 5 times before he got hired at Disneyland - don't give up!
Good way to shake it off...lunch and shopping! We live and learn! Dont be too hard on yourself...it may come to be that something better is in the making!
