unproductive sunday

2009.10.25
I have to say hooray for photoshop! I didn't realize that either my lens or something else was dirty and when I uploaded the photos onto my computer I saw all these weird spots everywhere. Thankfully I was able to smudge them out in photoshop. Looks like it's time to take my camera in to be cleaned. There are some spots I know aren't from a dirty lens and I don't want to try to clean the inside of my camera myself.

maybe i should send my boats down the little waterfall - that might make for some interesting shots, especially if I have little plastic figures in them with their arms raised in terror... : )

it was good, and i like the weird veggie tempura concoction of julienned onion, carrot and I think either sweet potato, potato or both.

I was going to get a lot done today. Ended up getting nothing done today. I'm still in this weird, unmotivated funk that I still can't get myself out of. I'm not even sure how I spent most of the day today but before I realized it the day was over.

My brother was supposed to help me with my photo assignment but he got home really late and by the time we got an errand done and went to the park the sun was setting and it was too dark.

We went to dinner with mom and dad - had Japanese food at this place my friend recommended to me a while ago called New Harima. The food is pretty good and it's nearby. Funny thing about the name - apparently it was just called "Harima" but when they moved the restaurant from one end of the shopping mall to the other end they renamed it "New Harima." I don't know why but I think that's funny.

daisydavinci Oh, I know about this problem with sensor-spots...
The waterfall is very, very beautiful.

LostAspen Mmm, that food looks tasty! When my photos show up with lots of little spots, it is either from junk on the lens or dust on the sensor (with my SLR). I've cleaned the sensor once, and need to again soon...it's a bit nerve wracking though, cuz if you scratch the sensor a new costs around $400!...or so I've heard.
