March 3rd: Today we took Drew to have his eyes checked out by a pediatric opthmologist since he was having trouble with double vision. This was his first trip to the opthmologist and he did pretty well...except when they had to put the drops in to dialate his eyes - he did NOT like that! Everything checked out good - 20/20 vision.

March 4th: Yesterday it started off raining...then sleeting and then we got snow. For awhile they were calling for close to a foot for us...but they backed that down to about 7. The center and west side of town ended up with around 8 inches, while our corner (east side) ended up with only around 3 inches. Drew still had fun playing out in it. It was Zach's 1st time out in the snow, and he wasn't too big on it - especially since he kept falling face first into it or brother was throwing it at him. Since it warmed up by the afternoon, it was pretty well all gone by nightfall.

March 5th: Drew giving Zach a "ride" on the blanket.

March 6th: Drew is doing really well on his backfloat - when he relaxes.

March 7th: On our way to and from swimming class we often get to see trains up close. Since Drew's swimming teacher will be out-of-town next week, he had swimming again today. On our way home we got stopped by a train...this one wasn't too long and since there were no boxcars on it, it was going at a good speed (they often creep through town).

March 8th: Yum! Yum! Gotta love chocolate chip cookies!

March 9th: Sunday evening was "PJ Night" at AWANA (our youth program at church). Everyone wore PJs and we had pancakes with syrup - YUM!! Here is one of our directors flipping a pancake.
