The seasons are changing
I can feel it in the air
The leaves are turning golden
As the branches become bare

No more long days
With the sun hanging high
She hides her face early
Making way for the dark starry sky

Boots and sweaters
Replace bathing suites and lotion
Our skin has become cool
Holding no trace of the ocean

We sit upon benches
And wait for the day
When the moon becomes bashful
And the sun stays up to play.
