It looks so delicious..thanks for the recipe..I make the crust using shortening..will try butter..sometimes I use bought crust..not nearly as good I agree! My last home made apple pie was dry..guess I didn't put enough sugar in the apples..I didn't drop the temp, maybe that was it..I use canned apple filling sometimes, works pretty good..

I REALLY love photography of subjects which make my mouth water. WOW!!! BTW, for those who don't measure in "cups", a cup is 250 ml. 425 degrees is 220, 350 is 175 and a minute is.... well... a minute.

My daughter makes a home-made, lattice-top cinnamon apple pie that looks just as good as yours! I love that "bubble of juiciness" in #5!!! Now, for a cup of coffee....
