Friday

This morning was Michael's last day of 4th grade. I'll be sad because he had such a wonderful teacher this year and the year went really, really wonderfully for him. He brought home his report card and I could not be any more pleased and proud. How do you say perfection??? We are lucky parents!
Me and Nick got up early and went to THE Air Force Museum for Mike's Vice Commander's ceremony. Col Harm and his wife have become wonderful friends to us in the past 2 yrs and I would not have missed it for the world. Nick got dressed up in his fancy clothes. The ceremony was in front of the F-111 which is the jet that Col Harm piloted. Very nostalgic and appropriate.
After the ceremony, me and Nick got some flowers for Michael's teacher and took them to school.
After school, Michael had a playdate with a friend and they played all rowdy while I cooked in the kitchen. Made the boys pizza rolls, tater tots, brownies while also making some Korean ponchan (side dishes) and chicken bulgogi. Delish!!!! We're just hanging out tonight and taking it easy. Nothing like a "chill" Friday night. Miss you Mike!
